Mila's First Ponytail

Our baby finally has enough hair to pull back into a ponytail. Nevermind the small, very insignificant detail that we had to wet it down with water to knock the curls out. Babies have such perfect hair and I'm unbelievably jealous....

The Last Mow of the Season

As cool weather slowly starts creeping into the area and the fall leaves drop from their trees, we're beginning to put our summer toys away: swimming pools, lawn mowers, deck furniture. and slip and slides. With the changing of the seasons, Mila wanted to mow the yard for the last time.

Three Posts At Once

"Little Miss Speed Racer"

I finally bought Mila a toddler seat so she could accompany me on bike rides. After going down a hill and hearing a "WEEEEEE!" from behind me, I knew this was going to be the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

Give me some skin, Mila!

"Mimi Driver, Not Minnie Driver"

Everytime the car door opens, Mila's the first inside to make sure everything is in tip-top condition. She's our at-home mechanic.

"Going Green"

We've been teaching Mila to make sure she crushes the cans before putting them in the recycling bin. She's such a fast learner!

The Toilet Paper Queen

You know that age that all babies hit when their fascination with toilet paper gets the best of them? Mila is definitely there! Yesterday, after sitting on the big girl potty for a little longer than she was accustomed to, Mila decided there was too much paper on the roll and that it needed a little thinning out. Gotta love kids. We decided to make the best of it and made her a neck tie out of some of the excess. Mila was thrilled to model her new article of almost-clothing.

Like Mother, Like Daughter

I guess they were both really tired...

so tired that Ana didn't even notice Mila propping her feet up on her.
PRICELESS!
